Top Nigerian rapper Vector has revealed in a meeting that his beef with his partner rapper MI Abaga brought him much cash.

The beef of the two rappers; Vector and MI Abaga was perhaps the most discussed in media outlets as both diss each other via music. MI released a diss track for Vector in October 2019. In the very month, Vector hit back with his diss track considered Judas the rat.

The two are presently companions after they were put on a similar alcoholic brand (hennesy) cypher. Talking in a meeting with Sky News, Vector revealed how he made cash from the beef with MI Abaga.

“Yes I made money from the beef tracks I did for MI. The records sold. There seems to be a ‘sweetness’ that comes with beef records. So they were streamed a lot. We trended at number 2 in the US, both verses trended at number one on, Genius, the lyrics website. Which means that Nigerians can write what the whole world can read and understand and we will trend. So yes, there was that,” he said.
