The 63rd annual ceremony is set to hold on the 14th of March and American singer, Jhene Aiko has been tasked to host the 2021 Grammy Awards premiere ceremony.
The Recording Academy announced on Tuesday, March 2, that the Grammy-nominated singer will host the pre-show, where most trophies are awarded. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Grammy’s website ahead of the 63rd annual ceremony on March 14.
The 2021 Grammy Awards was originally scheduled to take place in January before it was postponed due to the “deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles.
Aiko herself will be vying to win after being nominated for 3 Awards; Album of The Year, Best Progressive R&B Album, and Best R&B Performance of the Year at the event which is coming off the usual venue, the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
